2.1 Hardware Wallet Function
Pendle Hardware Wallet is a physical device designed exclusively for:
- Secure storage of private cryptographic keys
- Offline generation of private keys and seed phrases
- Digital signature creation for blockchain transactions
- Secure backup and recovery of cryptographic material
2.2 What We Do NOT Provide
Pendle Hardware Wallet and associated services do NOT:
- Facilitate buying, selling, or exchanging digital assets
- Provide custodial services or manage your funds
- Offer investment advice or financial recommendations
- Connect directly to exchanges or trading platforms
- Store or have access to your private keys or funds
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Proper Use
You agree to:
- Use the device only for its intended purpose of private-key storage
- Follow all setup and security instructions provided
- Keep your device, PIN, and recovery phrase secure
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Not attempt to modify, reverse engineer, or tamper with the device
3.2 Security Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Safeguarding your recovery phrase and PIN code
- Verifying transaction details before signing
- Keeping firmware updated for security patches
- Reporting suspected security issues promptly
- Any consequences of lost or compromised recovery information
3.3 Legal Compliance
You acknowledge that cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding cryptocurrency use
- Not use the device for illegal activities
- Meet any reporting or tax obligations in your jurisdiction
- Understand that we cannot provide legal or tax advice
4. Disclaimers and Limitations

We explicitly disclaim any provision of financial services including:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEVICE
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR SERVICE FAILURES
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR USER ERROR OR MISUSE OF THE DEVICE
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Warranty
6.1 Limited Hardware Warranty
We provide a 2-year limited warranty covering:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Hardware component failures under normal use
- Display and button malfunctions
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does NOT cover:

- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from unauthorized modifications
